MES is right on the doorstep of KZN’s industries like pulp and paper, mining and shipping. The robotic PTA welder can programmed to coat components like chipper bedknife blocks, ship exhaust valves and hammers. Robotic PTA welding ensures repeatable and superior performance. Weartech supplies the high tech alloys such as Stellite®, Triballoy®, Inconel® and Stelcar® which is used as the feedstock powder in the PTA welder. Weartech also maintains and stocks the consumable spares. Hettiger Stellite have trained a dedicated Weartech technician to offer in house backup and service.
